Situation

A privately-owned hotel requested LW Dynamics to review their merchant accounts and processing procedures. After analyzing their procedures, we determined that their credit card transactions were clearing at a much higher rate than necessary, costing them additional time in processing their guests.

Solution

After analyzing their merchant statements and front desk procedures, we discovered that the hotel’s processing costs were way out of line with what they should be. We renegotiated the pricing structure with their current processor. No doubt the processor had implemented rate creep. That will never happen under our watch!

Result

Based on annual processing volume of approximately $4,000,000, we were able to reduce their cost by $20,000 annually. That’s amazing savings!

Landscaping Company

Situation

A large landscaping company was in need of a professional review of their current merchant processing fees. Through in-depth analysis, LW Dynamics discovered that the company was not paying even close to what they were promised.

Solution

Renegotiated the pricing structure with their processor and made sure that the transactions were qualifying at the best rate based on recommended best practice guidance provided to the company staff.

Result

We were able reduce their processing fees by nearly $8,000.00 annually. By regularly auditing the account, we insured there was no “rate creep” as long as they were our client.

Car Wash Equipment Distributer

Situation

A national car wash equipment distributer was experiencing problems with their current processing and needed assistance in reducing fees and moderate losses from a few chargebacks.

Solution

After reviewing their processing, we recommended for them to change their terminal to an EMV chip certified. Also, since half of their transactions were non-card present, we helped them activate AVS. We also helped reduce their downgrades by setting up automatic batch closure.

Result

By reinforcing their shopping cart and gateway settings, we have significantly reduced their chargebacks.

The business is saving thousands of dollars, the savings are helping them make strategic investments which help the business grow in the slowing economy.
